A Pakistani Faisal Shahzad Arrested for Car Bomb Attack On Times Square

?A Pakistani man believed to be behind  a failed car bomb attack on New York’s Times Square was arrested today  while trying to leave the US, officials said.

Faisal Shahzad is being held in New York after  he was identified by customs agents at John F Kennedy International  Airport. He was stopped before boarding an Emirates airlines flight to  Dubai, according to officials. (dailymail.co.uk)

The suspect is Faisal Shahzad, a 30-year-old U.S. citizen of Pakistani  descent. The Connecticut native was captured at JFK International  Airport while attempting to board a flight to Dubai. According to a colleague, CNN’s Deb Feyerick  “reports the suspect was taken off the plane when he was arrested.”(huffingtonpost.com)

The probe had been overseen by the New York Police Department. Responsibility  for it shifted to a Joint Terrorism Task Force as Obama  administration officials said the incident increasingly appears to have  been coordinated by more than one person in a plot with international  links, the Post reported on its Web site….

PHOTO! Shahzad Faisal has been arrested in the New York bombing  attempt. A mug shot picture of Shahzad Faisal has yet to be released as  news late Monday that Shahzad Faisal was arrested following a multi  state investigation.

We know.  It’s one guy.  A man who reportedly lives in Connecticut and  who NY Police claim purchased the Nissan Pathfinder with cash and filled  out no paperwork.

That SUV was armed with a kind of make shift bomb that failed to work.  Interestingly it led an Islamic Terrorist group to claim responsibility  for ..it’s failure.
