Mandira Bedi, born on April 15th 1970 is an Indian Bollywood model, actress and a television Anchor. Mandira Bedi is a native of Mumbai married to Indian director Raj Kaushal, who has her ancestral roots in the Khatri clan of Fazilka a town in Punjab, located 10kms from the Indo-Pakistan border. She gained celebrity after acting as a lead role in a television serial "Shanthi" in 1994. After her debut hit turn in Shanthi, she acted as a supporting role in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995.
This personality was born in Kolkata, but only few people know about her. She revealed that that she prefers wearing Satya Paul saris and enjoyed walking on the ramp. Mandira Bedi displays a creation by designer Satya Paul during Day 4 of 'Kolkata Fashion week'.
