Military Spouse Appreciation Day 2010

At the heart of our Armed Forces, servicemembers’ spouses keep our  military families on track.? They balance family life, military life,  and their careers??? all while supporting other military families and  giving back to their communities.? Many have served in uniform  themselves and, understanding the obligations involved, can provide  unparalleled support.

But here are some NEW give-away items I just snagged for you:

  • five copies of The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman

  • five copies of The Love Dare Day by Day: Wedding Edition, a  365-day devotional book for newly married couples

  • five copies of the DVD What's in the Bible? by the creators  of Veggie Tales (for 5-12 year-olds)

  • one 3-DVD set which includes the movies Fireproof, Facing the  Giants, and FlyWheel.

Military wives have a common bond; the military wife has a husband  unlike other husbands. ?His commitment is unique. He doesn't have a  'JOB,' he has a 'MISSION' that he can't just decide to quit; he's  on-call for his country 24/7. ?But for her, he's the most unreliable guy  in town!

My husband makes sacrifices. But do our children and me, I love my  people get married. Military service was his life. But I stand among the  silent ranks known as the military wife.
