Peaches Geldof has been dumped by underwear label Miss Ultimo.

The model has been axed from her 500,000-pound job over claims she has become a bad role model for teenagers.

Ultimo supremo Michelle Mone said that she had no option but to end the star's deal with the label after more than 3,000 complaints from parents.

"I am a mother and have responsibility for role models with our brands," the Daily Star quoted Michelle, 38, as saying.

"There's a point where a business must stick to its principles and as a brand that targets young women, we feel it is impossible for Peaches to continue."

Recently, a sex and drugs scandal involving Peaches was revealed.

Topless pictures of an alleged heroin binge were posted on the Internet by Ben Mills, who she had a one-night stand with.

Peaches has angrily denied Ben's claim that they took heroin and insisted only drink had been taken.

The socialite insists that she had done nothing wrong.

"I am disappointed Ultimo has decided not to extend my contract based on a wildly exaggerated account of a night in Los Angeles five months ago," she said.

"Whilst I vehemently deny parts of that account, I understand Ultimo's decision," she added.
