Singer Jessica Simpson has revealed that her weight gain during her tour last year made her feel like a "public embarrassment".
Simpson, 29, had appeared on tour looking tubby in high-waisted jeans.
"I had to get up on stage every night and know people were looking to see whether I was fat," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
The singer has been travelling round the world for new show The Price of Beauty.
