Latest Update News About Gia Carangi: Well known American model Gia Carangi was born in January 29, 1960 in America. Gia Carangi's career to be the first Supermodel was from late 1970s to early 1980, there are some other models like Janice Dickinson, Cindy Crawford and Dorianleigh who were well-liked in the same status.
After becoming a supper model Gia Carangi was given a name Baby Gia as her similarity to Carangi. With a new trend in the fashion world she gave odd pose, gesture and facial expressions for the first in the industry.
Soon after that Gia Carangi became Heroin even her famed name as a model went down rapidly.
In that mean time she was infected by HIV AIDS that was a new virus at that time. Immediately she was admitted to Hahnemann University Hospital due to her serious condition and her mother was the one who was taking care of her at the hospital and she did not allow anyone to visit Gia Carangi.
Because of her serious condition of HIV she was not able to come on the screen as a supper model and at last she did not survive with such infection and died in the age of 26, around 10:00 a:m on 18th of November, 1986.
Gia Carangi's interment was held in Philadelphia on November 23rd 1986. It was really unexpected that no one from fashion industry attended her interment even the old friends from Philadelphia. She finished her last photo shoot and that was added in the memories of people.
