New York: Kirsten Dunst's former assistants have denied the defense's claim that there was a drug fest going on during the actress' party in 2007. “No, there was no celebration,” a news daily quoted personal assistant Liat Baruch telling a Manhattan Supreme Court jury, testifying in the burglary re-trial of Brooklyn car mechanic James Jimenez, charged with sneaking into the SoHo Grand hotel three years ago and swiping the Balenciaga handbags of both Baruch and Dunst.
“I have no knowledge for any wrap party planned,” agreed the second assistant, Henry Mackintosh.
Defense lawyer, Robert Parker has argued that Jiminez had express permission to be at the hotel, because he was there with a man they`re claiming was the on-location drug dealer, Jarrod Bienerman.
Dunst`s assistant said she refused to tell the police that she had a little marijuana, but she admitted was “ridiculously expensive” — but said she hadn`t mentioned it to cops at first because “I was embarrassed and scared.”
