Lady Gaga Performing at American Idol 2010

Lady Gaga performed her best Madonna impression. In a ?thinly-veiled  performance dripping with sex and violins, Gaga performed “Alejandro,”  the third single from her aptly-titled sophomore album “The Fame  Monster.”

Lady Gaga is  dedicating tonight’s American Idol performance of her hit  single “Alejandro” to her fans whom she calls her “Little Monsters.”  She is expected to  boost American Idol’s ratings as pop fans tune in the eagerly  awaited show.

The queen of costume controversy proved to be all stage presence,  little voice on results night, emphasizing the fact that this year's  "Idol" contenders are often just the opposite ― all voice, no stage  presence.

Pyrotechnics, a giant statue of an angel and several shirtless male  dancers added to the gothic spectacle that surrounded Gaga, who was  dressed in very little.

Based on your votes in our Top  5 performance poll it looks like we may find Aaron Kelly, Casey  James, and Michael Lynche in the Bottom 3.  I wouldn't be surprised to  see Aaron go but Casey isn't far behind and after last week anything can  happen! The Frank Sinatra-themed night didn't go well for Crystal Bowersox,   even with the charismatic Harry Connick Jr. mentoring her. The judges   thought the first half of her routine was sleepy and slow. And if we   could have stayed awake for it, we couldn't have agreed more.
