The champion of Indian cricket team, the role model of million of people around the world has now got a fame to be known to share his name with a mango breed. The rarest mango breed has been named after the rarest cricketers of all.

Mango expert, Kalimullah Khan said, “There is no player like Sachin Tendulkar in the whole world and that’s why I have named this mango Sachin.”

The Sachin mango is a hybrid breed of the finest Indian varieties, one is the juicy Goodar Shah and other is the appetizing Chausa.

It is interesting to know that there are around 300 such mangoes from which not even one is for sale.

The mango expert added, “Our Sachin is a world hero and he is priceless and not a sale-able commodity. So, my attempt will be to send all the mangoes on this tree to Sachin so he can enjoy them with his friends."

Not only this, following Sachin he plans to produce another rare variety of mango that will be named after legendry singer, Lata Mangeshkar.

Confirming the news, Kalimullah said, “I can think of Lata Mangeshkar. I have a desire to produce a slender variety of mango which should be able to carry the name of Lataji.”
