In celebration of Administrative Professionals Day 2010, many CEOs and managers will treat their secretaries. They will either give them gifts, lunch or diner buffets, or an extra time off their work to spend it with their leaved ones.

In observance of Administrative Professionals Day, many employers will give their assistants and secretaries gifts like flowers, candy, or extra time off. Others celebrate the day with office parties or community gatherings — try gathering everyone together for some games.
I’m happy to report that many administrative pros can — and are enabled to — do their jobs virtually. Virtual Office Assistants or Virtual Assistants (VAs) do everything their in-office counterparts do…they just do it remotely. The International Association of Administrative Professionals has more information on the growing virtual office assistance niche, one of the top work-at-home fields.
National Administrative Professionals' Day happens on April 21, 2010. This day celebrates the more than 4 million administrative assistants and secretaries working in the US, as well as the nearly 9 million people working in support roles.
Submit your nomination or just attend lunch with your assistant to recognize them for all of their hard work this past year. The luncheon will be held at Lawry’s the Prime Rib. Please send inquiries directly to president@iaap-oasis.org to purchase tickets for this event. Please contact us today!
