IPL 2010 Live Schedule: Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL 2010 1st Semi Final

Watch cricket highlights: Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers  Bangalore 1st Semi-Final IPL (2010), played at Mumbai on April 21, 2010.

The first semifinal between MI and  RCB promises some exciting action. Both teams will try their best to  seize the opportunity and outwit each other. Mumbai Indians are lucky  enough, as the semifinal was shifted from Bangalore to Navi Mumbai due  to security concerns. They will have the advantage of playing at home.

With teams being set up for semis the first semifinals of the IPL 3  will be between MI and RCB on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at D.Y Patil  Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. The bomb threats in Bangalore forced IPL  management to shift the venue to Navi Mumbai.

Team News

Mumbai rested a number of players for their dead rubber match against  Kolkata, so expect to see many changes from that game. Tendulkar, Kieron  Pollard, Harbhajan Singh, Lasith Malinga and Zaheer Khan will  all come back in, while Dwayne Bravo will likely be the most  high-profile overseas player to miss out.

On the other hand RCB will consider itself lucky to find them in the  semis. They must have been biting nails until KKRs scored their final  run. It is just the net run rate that has seen them through and Kallis,  Uthappa and KP are those that helped the team score fast runs and  have decent run rate every time whether they won or lost.

Royal Challengers  Bangalore also have good team with strong bench   strength as  Kallis giving good start followed by Kevin Pietersen,   Dravid, Ross  Taylor and Virat Kohli and in the end hard Uthappa is   there to boost the  total. Vinay and Praveen Kumar doing well along with   captain Kumble.
