Jack Tweed has denied in court that he raped a teenage girl, and insisted that she was a willing participant.

Tweed, 22, who has been accused of raping the girl on September 4 last year, also told a jury he didn”t even notice his friend and co-accused Anthony Davis, 26, was in the room until he knelt on the bed to join in.

Tweed said the alleged victim, then 19, did not push him away or tell him to stop as they had sex at his Essex bachelor pad.

Giving evidence at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Tweed said the woman was kissing him back and running her hands through his hair.

He spoke clearly and confidently to the jury, at times even demonstrating the position he and the woman were stood in as they had sex.

And he claimed he only went into the room with her after she asked him for socks and tracksuit bottoms.

“She just kept asking for socks and I said ”go and check in there” and pointed to the bedroom,” the Sun quoted him as saying.

“She said ”come and show me, come help me look for them”. I walked in there and walked around the far side of the bedroom.

“I turned around and she was standing right behind me and we looked at each other and just started kissing,” he said.

Tweed described how they began to have sex by the windowsill.

“Did she at any time say ”don”t do that?” Did she indicate in any way that she didn”t want you to do that?” his barrister Ronald Jaffa asked him.

Tweed replied “no” to both questions.

He added he heard the bedroom door open then close quickly. He said he didn”t realise pal Davis had entered the room.

Minutes later, the property developer walked over to the bed, knelt in front of the woman and she gave him oral sex, Tweed claimed.

Tweed is said to have met the woman and her three friends at Mayfair nightspot The Embassy where he was working as a club promoter that night.

But he claims he did not remember speaking to any of them at the club and was only introduced to them at his home in Repton Park.

Tweed denies two counts of rape. Davis, of Chigwell, Essex, denies oral rape. The case continues.
