Alanis Morrissette tied the conjugal knot with rapper, Mario Souleye Treadway during a close wedding ceremony in Los Angeles on May 22. Reports state that the wedding ceremony was attended only and only by family members and very close friends.
Morissette later revealed that she was really happy to be with the man of her dreams and that it was very exciting to start a new journey with her soul mate.
Morissette and Souleye, who were married for barely more than a week before the Jagged Little Pill rocker’s 36th birthday on June1.
Whilst it is the first marriage for both musicians, Morissette was formerly engaged to The Proposal star, Ryan Reynolds. The two then decided to call off their marriage in the year 2007, although the singer’s 2004 commentary on romance and love are positively considerate, given the fact that she has finally settled down with her man.
Earlier, the female singer stated that she was considered to be a hopeless romantic, but now, since she has married the love of her life, she expects that it will be able to bring a change in the way people judge her.
She looks forward to living a peaceful life with her beloved and hopes that the relationship proves to be a blessing.
