Erin Andrews Dancing With The Stars

erin andrews dancing with the starsErin Andrews Dancing With The Stars, Erin Andrews was sent to the Bottom Two for the first time this season on “Dancing With the Stars” — on her birthday.

To add salt to the wound, Andrews arguably pulled off her best performance on the show to date Monday (May 3) night, earning all nines and high praise from the judges for her quickstep.

So the ESPN reporter was probably scratching her head in disbelief when she was sent to the Bottom Two at the very beginning of Tuesday’s elimination show, where she awaited her fate for a full hour. However, her 32nd birthday was not to be ruined in the end — the only other remaining blonde celeb on the show got sent packing instead.

Yes, it was the end of the road for Pamela Anderson, which honestly was not as much as of a surprise as seeing Andrews on the chopping block.

Zap2it speculated on Monday that the “Baywatch” beauty might be in trouble in Week 7. Anderson had already been in the bottom two twice this season, and Monday night she had the lowest overall score before the “cha cha challenge” (do those group dances really count anyways?).

Niecy Nash and Chad Ochocinco were tied only one point above Anderson (again, before the group dance) — but while Anderson got moderate props from the judges for her waltz, both Nash and Ochocinco earned high praise for their improvement.

So while it might not have been a huge shocker, it was still evident that the judges (especially Bruno Tonioli, who has raved about Anderson’s performance capabilities week after week) were not prepared for her to go.

“It’s heartbreaking to see,” said Len Goodman of having both Andrews and Anderson in the bottom two. “They should both be here next week.”

But Anderson took her exit in stride, saying, “This has been one of the best experiences of my life, and that says a lot.”

During Anderson’s final goodbyes, Tom Bergeron astutely remarked that “the double entendre account will drop” now. With Anderson’s exit, the judges will just have to use up that impressive bank of somewhat inappropriate upper body references on the voluptuous Niecy Nash.
