There's a lot to like about the Mill City but Lowell Folk Festival is perhaps the biggest attraction of Lowell. The 24th annual Lowell Folk Festival is being held in the heart of the downtown Lowell and will begin on Friday July 23.


The festival will be kicked off by a parade and it will feature ethnic foods, folk music from all over the world, and other special events. The festival will open at noon on all three days of the event and will run through the evening.

The visitor of the Lowell Folk Festival will get a chance to taste the flavors of different cultures and cuisines. Sensational folk music performances by artists from different countries are the highlights of the event. But there's food to satisfy your taste buds too.


A whole buffet of food items from different ethnic communities will be available to tempt the visitors of Lowell Folk Festival festivals.

The food stalls will carry different cuisines and the visitors will be welcomed by a fiesta of tastes, flavors, aromas, and colors. Lowell Folk Festival typically offers menus from at least 12 different cuisines.


In addition to food and music, Lowell Folk Festival is offering family fun activities, arts and crafts, and a recycling program. Lowell Folk Festival is a 3-day, free admission event.


The festival will begin with parade in the downtown area which will be followed by performances from different musicians. Lowell Folk Festival is featuring two stages and more than 20 performers will take the stage.
