Here we have some of the other results during the night of the coronation for the Miss America 2010. Aside from Miss Michigan Rima Fakih being the miss america 2010, some of the special awards included Miss Congeniality: Nebraska � Belinda Wright and Miss Photogenic: Alabama � Audrey Moore. 1st runner-up � Oklahoma � Morgan Woolard, 2nd runner-up � Virginia � Samantha Casey, 3rd runner-up -Colorado � Jessica Hartman and 4th runner-up � Maine � Katie Whittier. Miss Michigan Rima Fakih has all the ideals of a great beauty queen.
All the changes that came with winning Miss Michigan came as quite a shock for Rima Fakih. When asked what she was doing just a tear ago, Rima Fakih replied, "You know it’s funny, just a year ago, I was actually looking for a second job. I was looking to pay off my loans from my undergraduate degree, and I was gearing up to apply for law school which also is quite expensive.
Not only did Fakih recovery from a small slip during the evening gown competition, but she also gave props to her mother and to her director during her interview. She was the only contestant to do this.
When asked how she felt about winning the crown, Rima replied “Ask me after I eat a pizza.”
In the interview, Fakih was asked whether she thought birth control should be paid for by health insurance, and she said she believed it should.
