Women have girl crushes on my ¡®Sex and the City¡¯ character, says Cattrall

Actress Kim Cattrall has said that most female fans have a crush on her character Samantha Jones in 'Sex and the City'.

The beauty added that both old and young are fascinated with the role she plays in the hit TV drama.

“It’’s true – they start at age 11 and end in their 80s," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling Contactmusic.

She added: “But it has nothing to do with me. It’’s projected on to a fantasy world that doesn”t really exist. It’’s a super-warped reality.”

However, Cattrall insists she is nothing like Samantha in real life, even though she defends her fictitious character who chases men.

She added: “I get bored rigid of that tag. I never think of Samantha being disgraceful. She lives life to the full.”
