Carrie Underwood Wedding Dress, Carrie Underwood Married; Mazel Tov! Carrie Underwood married Ottawa Senators center Mike Fisher at an undisclosed luxury resort, presumably in the south, earlier today. Now there are two things that everybody wants to know:
What is it that the ladies like so much about pro athletes? Geez, you give a guy good looks, a few million bucks and loads of talent, and suddenly the ladies can't get enough. It's one of those unsolvable mysteries.
But what all the boys are really wondering about is Carrie Underwood's wedding dress. Apparently, Underwood wore a Chantilly lace wedding dress designed specially for her by Monique Lhuillier, as pictured above. The dress is from Lhuillier's 2011 Spring collection. That's right. Carrie Underwood has a wedding dress from the future.
Now for his part, Mike Fisher better be careful. Professional athletes are known for philandering. And Carrie Underwood is known for taking a Louisville Slugger to both headlights if her man messes around. I imagine she could get pretty creative with a hockey stick.
The couple released a statement tinged with romance and hopefulness to the venerable People Magazine:
"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" the newlyweds told PEOPLE in a statement, signing their names "Mike & Carrie Fisher."
