Miley Cyrus Reuters

miley cyrus reutersMiley Cyrus Reuters, Reuters news service has offered up a picture of teen star Miley Cyrus that rivals the photo that landed blogger Perez Hilton in hot water last week, reported Tuesday.

The photo, snapped at Sunday’s Much Music Awards in Toronto, shows the 17-year-old star dancing in a white body suit draped in ribbons. The photographer snapped the shutter just as the crotch of Miley’s outfit slid away to reveal, ahem, almost everything.

Perez Hilton posted a similar shot last week, linking from his Twitter account to a paparazzi up-the-skirt photo that showed far too much skin.

Jackson’s mother

approves of tribute

Michael Jackson’s mother has given her blessing to a tribute planned to her late son a year after his death at age 50.

In a video posted on YouTube, Katherine Jackson thanks people for the support they have given her family since Jackson died June 25, 2009.

She also thanked Voice Plate Productions for staging the fan event, which will be held Saturday at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. Jackson’s mother says her son would be “very honored and very pleased that his fans all over the world are coming together to celebrate his life.”

Tickets for the event start at $150 and go up to $500.
