Another actress hears the wedding bells. Joining the likes of Amrita Arora, Shilpa Shetty, Ayesha Takia and Isha Koppikhar is none other than Manisha Koirala. Unlike the others, this one is a typical arrange marriage. Both the families have known each other for a while and when Manisha’s mom spoke to her about Samrat Dahal, the boy in question, it was a match made to be.
Once Manisha gave her approval, an astrologer was consulted and an auspicious date was found in the month of June. The whole wedding would be a Nepali affair, and Manisha will be flying down her loved ones including Deepti Naval. Anu, Avinash, Paulomi Singh and others to join in the celebrations. Congrats to the lucky couple!
"We have fixed the wedding date on June 19," said Surendra Dahal, father of the groom and famed Nepali businessman whose Leather Wings company does rolling business and has associates in Bentinck Street of Kolkata, famed for its leather shops, Chennai, New Delhi, Kanpur and Agra. "We hope the pair will be blessed and happy."
"He (Dahal) is well-educated and comes from a family with an excellent background. I like him and I respect her (Manisha's) decision," Manisha's politician father Prakash Koirala was quoted as saying.
"Mutual connections told me about a week ago that Manisha Koirala was getting married in Nepal," said Nepali film director Dipendra Khanal, whose upcoming release Dharma will mark the return of the actress to the Nepali film industry nearly two decades after she left Nepal to storm Bollywood.
Although the affair between Manisha and Samrat has been going on for quite some time, Manisha has recently decided to commit herself.
