Jordan ¡®furious¡¯ with Andre for gyrating with dancers in front of kids

Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan is furious with ex-husband Peter Andre for gyrating with lycra-clad dancers in front of their kids.

Andre, 37, who had put on an X-rated show with kids Junior and Princess just feet away, is said to have shocked fans as he performed with a string of sexy girls in kinky leather-look leggings.

Junior, four, and Princess, two, were in the front row of the raised seats at London's IndigO2 Arena on March 6 alongside Andre's TV chef pal Gino D'Acampo, 33, and his wife Jessica.

A confused-looking Junior was even seen waving to his dad as the show went on late into the night, with Princess appearing not to understand what was going on as she struggled to see over a screen.

A source close to Andre said that he had taken the kids along after Junior begged to see his show.

"The kids were there and had a brilliant time. They took their pyjamas and changed into them before they left the arena. They both loved it," the Daily Star quoted his spokesman as saying.

But 31-year-old Jordan's pals accused Andre of "double standards" after he had criticised her for similar stunts, and even labelled him a "hypocrite".

"Kate is bound to be angry. Peter is always having a go at her for keeping the kids up late and taking them to inappropriate things," Jordan's friend said.

"But what could be more inappropriate than this? Letting your kids see you dance with a load of half-naked women is hardly in the parents' handbook.

"They may know daddy is working but I'm not sure that kids of two and four know the difference.

"This is bound to be confusing for them and hardly something they should be going to," the friend added.

O¡±Neal stunned at late girlfriend Fawcett¡¯s omission from ¡®Oscars In Memoriam¡¯

Farrah Fawcett's log-time boyfriend Ryan O”Neal has expressed shock at the actress's omission from the Oscars' "In Memoriam" segment despite having been a member of the Academy for 40 years.

"It was a terrible decision and very hurtful � Farrah was a member of the Academy for over 40 years and we could not believe she did not get a mention," the Herald Sun quoted O” Neal, as saying.

The traditional video montage of stars who died in the past year including such familiar faces as Patrick Swayze, Brittany Murphy and Michael Jackson, but inexplicably omitted the Charlie's Angels star.

His daughter and Oscar winner Tatum O” Neal is also planning to join her father in insisting the Academy address the omission.

"Quite frankly, we were stunned at the decision not to include her in the tribute and I feel that the Academy should be scolded for that, everyone was shocked. Both Tatum and I were very upset and we intend to write a letter to the Academy to try and get an explanation for this oversight on their behalf," O” Neal said.

However, Fawcett’’s exclusion wasn”t an accident, according to a spokeswoman for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

"I would not say that it was an oversight. No matter how carefully and how conscientiously people address who is included, there are people who just simply can”t be," said Leslie Unger, spokeswoman for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

"In any given year there will always be some people that other people think should have been included and that there’’s more justification for one person versus another. It is impossible to include everybody," she added.

Fans of Fawcett flooded networking sites with their grievances on Sunday.

Fawcett died on June 25, 2009, the same day as Michael Jackson, after a long battle with cancer.  She was 62.

Power shortfall soars to 4810 MW

LAHORE: The power shortfall in the country has reached to 4810 MW as 11 to 14 hours load shedding makes common man's life miserable.

According to PEPCO officials, the power production is 10015 MW as demand touches to 14810 MW.

The duration of load shedding in cities is 11 to 14 hours, 20 hours in villages whereas industrial sector is facing 6 to 8 hours of load shedding.

Prolonged power cuts also created water shortage in several areas. However, PEPCO officials are optimistic that load shedding will be reduce in coming days with the improved water situation in Tarbela and Mangla Dams.

MUMBAI, Big Tv Recharge: Reliance Big TV has launched its high-definition (HD) set-top box with digital video recording (DVR) technology, making it the first DTH operator in India to offer such a service.

The Reliance ADAG company has priced the HD DVR set-top box at Rs 7,490, lesser than Sun Direct HD available at Rs 10,000.

The service will be rolled out across India's top 100 cities.

Big TV has also launched entry offers for the south and non-south markets. For non-south markets, Big TV has bundled the STB with three months of Diamond Pack subscription for Rs 7,990.

In the southern market, the entry offer is priced at Rs 7,790 bundled with five months of value pack with a full bouquet of sports channels.

For existing Big TV customers, the company is offering an upgrade option from SD to HD DVR at an exceptional price of Rs 5,990.

Big TV CEO Sanjay Behl said, "This is India's first product with a dual benefit of HD viewing and digital video recorder in a single STB. Further, Big TV is the only service provider to offer recording capability upwards of 200 hours and a universal remote control

which can manage up to three devices."

The company expects the top 10 per cent of its existing customers to opt for the HD DVR service. Big TV is also eyeing 10 per cent of the monthly new activations from the top 100 cities.

"The HD services are available at a higher price, so there is likelihood that more affluent and higher income households will be opting for this. We believe, out of 2.5 million subscribers ofBig TV, the top 10 per cent would go for the upgradation," Behl told Indiantelevision.com.

The launch of the HD service is also targeted towards improving Arpus (average revenue par user). Big TV is eyeing a 25-30 per cent higher Arpu from its HD service, Behl said. However, he declined to comment on the current Arpu levels.

"This launch is part of our pursuit of quality and profitable growth by blending best in technology, content experience, reach and service to bring world-class entertainment experience to our customers," Behl said.

As a part of its HD launch, Big TV has signed a HD content deal with National Geographic to offer its HD channels in India. It will offer the HD channels complementary through entry offers to all new customers. It is in talks with CBS, ESPN, FoX News and Discovery. it plans to launch over the next two months five new HD channels and a host of HD content by forging strategic alliances.

Big TV also said Wednesday it plans to launch six new interactive services during the fiscal.

The company will launch its HD DVR marketing campaign across top 100 cities as part of the launch phase. It will comprise an aggressive multimedia campaign across television, print, digital, social, retail media and BTL mediums.

The high definition feature of Big TV HD DVR offers five times clearer and sharper image quality with two million pixel resolution and digital surround sound effect, the company said. The DVR capabilities offer features like pause, play, rewind live TV and record Live TV.

The HD DVR offers up to 200 hours of recording capacity. It also offers a 3-in-1 universal remote to control the TV, STB and any other music/ disc player system.

The company currently has eight Ku-band transponders on Measat. "We are adding two transponders that will allow us bandwidth to offer more HD content and channels for the next one year. We plan to increase our overall channel capacity to over 300," said Behl.

LeAnn Rimes has finally spoken out about the breakdown of her marriage and her subsequent affair with movie co-star Eddie Cibrian, insisting she “doesn’t regret the outcome”. The singer/actress has remained silent since she was caught kissing Cibrian on camera in 2009, while she was still married to dancer Dean Sheremet.

Rimes and Sheremet filed for divorce shortly afterwards, and Cibrian also split from his wife, Brandi Glanville, so the stars could be together. A year on from the scandal, Rimes admits she regrets the way events unfolded but she’s happy to have Cibrian by her side.

She tells People magazine, “I take responsibility for everything I’ve done. I hate that people got hurt. But I don’t regret the outcome.” Rimes confesses their friendship “tipped over” a few months after filming “Northern Lights” and they embarked on a love affair: “It was very emotionally driven. I never once thought what I was doing was OK.”

But the 27 year old is adamant there were problems in her marriage before her romance with Cibrian started. She admits she and Sheremet tried to work out their differences but it became “very apparent it wasn’t a marriage that fulfilled either one of us”.

She adds, “I was out of balance. My marriage was out of balance. There was something missing.” But Rimes despises being called a “home wrecker” – because Cibrian and Glanville’s marriage was already fractured too.

She says, “The hardest thing to hear is someone call either of us a home wrecker because we didn’t walk into a perfectly happy marriage and ruin it.” The star is refusing to rule out another wedding in the future, but insists, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I know it holds Eddie. I’m really happy. I’ve moved on, and I hope there can be some forgiveness and acceptance.”
