TV cook and talk show host, the bubbly Rachael Ray knows how to win a guido’s heart: Through their situation. On today’s “Rachael Ray Show,” the cast of “Jersey Shore” celebrate tonight’s finale episode with a hearty meal, some namedropping and some secret telling. It seems like the cast is on their best behavior today (Thu. Jan. 21) on the show. By that, we mean Rachael Ray doesn’t get punched. Of course, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino couldn’t help but unleash his trademark abs on the talk show host. He also initiated Ray into the guidette culture by giving her a nickname: “The Appetizer.” Hah!
And finally, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi comes clean on where she got her nickname.
“I was the first girl in my girlfriends to make out with a guy,” Snooki tells Ray. “So you know ‘Save the Last Dance’ Snooki the cootchie crook? It was the deejay. Anyway, my girls started calling me Snooki, so it just stuck ever since. I was in eighth grade!”
OK, so it’s not exactly to the level of Snooki’s creepin’ today, but for middle school? Scandalous!
We also hear that while Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Magro are still together, they sound like the passion has cooled a bit. If you describe your relationship with “it is what it is,” that’s not exactly hot in our book. Just sayin’.
By the way, if you’re wondering what Rachael Ray whipped up for the special occasion: Hot Sausage, Pepper and Onion Ragu with Rigatoni and Provolone Besciamella. Yum. We’d spill all our secrets, too.
