Shelton Made a Proposal to Lambert to Marry Him

According to the recent news, it became known that Shelton asked Lambert to marry him, the news was confirmed by Kathy Best who is considered to be the publicist of Lambert

Lambert said that the proposal was a surprise for her. Shelton called her father and asked for blessing first. Then he presented the diamond-and-platinum ring to the singer which he has chosen on his own. As a matter of fact, the couple has been together for five years, so it was not a problem for Shelton what ring to choose. It only proves that he knows the preferences of his future wife.

The proposal was made in the woods near Tishomingo of Lambert, Okla., home. Actually, the celebration was informal. The couple had Diet Sprites and Bacardi in a Solo cup.

One should say that the engagement is considered to be another high point for Lambert that happened during this year. Actually, she scored her first No. 1 single with “White Liar” in January. Moreover, she won Top Female Vocalist as well as Album of the Year at the ACM Awards in April. It turned out that Lambert was nominated for two CMT Awards on Tuesday morning.
