Venus Williams French Open Outfit See-Through Illusion

Venus Williams coasted to a 6-3, 6-3 victory against Patty Schnyder  in the first round of the French Open this weekend.

But the  tennis great’s powerful serve and winning forehand aren’t what has the  online community buzzing this morning.

Venus Williams easily won her  opening match at the French Open  on Sunday, beating Patty Schnyder with consecutive 6-3 victories. But it  was not her performance that drew the most attention. Williams' lacy  black-and-red outfit, which gave "the illusion of being see-through

Venus Williams had viewers saying ooh la la when she  stepped out on the court at the French Open on Sunday (May 23).

Had anyone watched the Madrid Open last week leading up to the French,  they would have seen this coming: She wore the same dress, but in a  different color. Maybe black is just too sexy for America.

Williams said in a press statement that she likes to bring eight to ten  outfits to every tournament. She added that the French Open outfit was  meant to be "about illusion… a lot of my motif this year."

This corset number is fitting for the cutting edge of Paris fashion,  but is Williams the most outrageous dresser on tour?
