Muralidharan, Muttiah Muralitharan Wickets, Murlidharan, Muttiah Muralitharan Wife, Muttiah Muralitharan Famil, Madhi, the Indian wife of Sri Lanka's ace spinner Muthiah Muralidharan seems to be a brave lady. She actually wanted to be in Pakistan during the difficult time that the team went through on Tuesday due to the terror attacks.
"I wanted to be with my husband during the terror attack," she said over telephone from Colombo. "It would have given moral support to Murali and the entire team."
As it was Pakistan, no wives or girlfriends were travelling with the team on the tour. "I don't know about the sensitivity of the country (Pakistan) but had we been allowed to travel with the team, I would have gone to Pakistan. Yes, there was chaos on Tuesday in Pakistan, but the panic was no less here (in Colombo) either," she added.
The players' wives were exchanging news among themselves, updating each other with information post the terror attacks. "We all (wives) had decided to go to the airport to receive our life partners," she revealed.
"Murali's only son Naren, when not on tour with his dad, misses him for two days but settles down soon after that," she added further. Madhi's mother arrived in Sri Lanka on wednesday to enquire about her son-in-law's health.
