If you watched the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season finale last night, chances are your heart is still racing. If you haven’t, you’ll likely be hearing everyone who did see it ranting and raving about how freaking intense it was.
The CW heads into the fall season with the majority of the shows intact, but they have made some big changes to the schedule by pairing up drama series that make sense (i.e. 90210 with Gossip Girl).
Together they’re discovering that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Real life only comes in shades of grey.
“For most people, the hospital is a scary place,” Meredith kicks off the episode by saying in voice-over.” A hostile place. A place where bad things happen,” she continues as we see montages of Alex and Lexie catching some sleep in the on-call roo.
Here’s what makes the jaw-dropping moments even more riveting: They arrive in the midst of more typical Grey’s fare: all those relationship dramas that have been going on for months now, and are starting to feel tired. In the opening moments of the episode, we see Christina (Sandra Oh) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) bawl into their cereal bowls over their relationship woes
