The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has also joined IGB as a not-for-profit partner for the Idol Gives Back special charity event airing Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET Live/PT Tape Delayed on FOX.
First named to the focus point is Lee Dewyze, and to nobody's surprise he was safe. After Lady Gaga's performance, a presentation by this week's tutor Harry Connick Jr., and another performance by the top 5, we finally get to see the result. Two clusters are made.
The contestants sang Frank Sinatra songs on a night mentored by Harry Connick Jr. Aaron Kelly who performed "Fly Me to the Moon" for Sinatra Week hasn't gained favor of the audience this week.
Both Aaron Kelly and Casey James have been in the bottom three the last couple of weeks. ?The judges seem to like Aaron, but then again some of the fans prefer Casey James to the other contender.
Casey James:
Randy thought it was horrible: "this was your worst performance, pitchy throughout." Ellen hated it "That felt very stiff." Kara hated it"At least you held some notes." Simon said it was pathetic "I actually think you came across a bit embarrassed."
